Inle Lake, Burma

Inle Lake, Burma.

One of my paintings was in the Youth Art Show. It is a painting of Inle Lake in Burma. I painted it from a picture that I found on the internet. I don't know who the photographer is though. The medium of this painting is oil pastel and I painted it in my Art 2 class last semester. I thought I was going to give it to one of my teachers because he helped me to acknowledge others in my school about Burma but I don't think I will anymore because I would probably miss it. Since I will be going to college for the first time, I don't think I would have the time to paint. Anyhow, I'm glad I took Art again.

I also am thankful to everyone who donated to the donation fund raise for Burma's victims and survivors of the Cyclone Nargis that occurred on May 2nd and 3rd in the lower delta of Burma. Together, the donations amounted to $430. Thank you my fellow South City Warriors!

Burma-The Cyclone Nargis

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080508/ap_on_re_as/myanmar_cyclo

Above is the story on Burma's Cyclone disaster. This made me sad. The military regime in Burma is one of the most selfish human beings I have ever encountered in my whole life as long as I have known the world. It is unbelievable how stupid they can show the world how stupid and selfish they are.
